From Taoyuan International Airport – NCU
Fare: NT$ 500~600
Using Taxi, or Ubus to THSR station then 132 Bus to NCU for (NT$ 30+18) only if you come around 9AM – 6PM.
Take a taxi from the airport taxi station (in the outside of the building)
Ubus also have a station in the outside of the airport
Jhongli—Taipei
Fare: NT$ 65
Where to take a Bus: Yi-Ren Hall (on NCU campus) (rarely come)
NCU—Jhongli Train Station
Fare: NT$ 18 (using easy card or coin cash), NT$14 (using student id, easy card student).
Where to take a Bus: Yi-Ren Hall (on NCU campus)at the rear gate Bus Number 132, 133. Sometimes bus 132 go to the THSR Station, you could ask first.
NCU—THSR
Get off at THSR Taoyuan Station. Take direct bus No. 132 or No. 172 at Bus Platform 8 to reach NCU (approx. one per hour, a 15- to 20-minute ride). You may also take other buses heading for Jhongli City, where a connection is needed.
City buses No. 132 and No. 172 operate between Jhongli City and NCU, with an extended line to THSR Taoyuan Station at certain hours.
Train
Fare: NT$ 57~89, 51 with student id card

Taiwan High Speed Rail
If you want to have a short and efficient trip to the main cities in Taiwan, HSR might be a good choice for you. Currently, there are stations in Taipei, Banciao, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan,and Zuoying.

Accomadation
Mainly three types of dormitories are available at NCU
- BM or Male Graduate Dormitory: Economy rate, air-condition two students per room and mix international and local student.
NT$ 13000 Fee + NT$ 800 internet charge per semester – including water and electricity bills - G14 or Female Graduate Dormitory: Economy rate, air-condition 4 students per room, mix international and local student.
NT$ 13000 Fee + NT$ 800 internet charge per semester – including water and electricity bills - GFM or International Dormitory: Expensive rate, 2 students per room, air-condition mainly for International Student.
NT$ 15000 Fee + NT$ 500 electricity per month + NT$ 800 internet charge per semester - Living Outside the campus: Students could find accommodation outside the campus.
NT$ 4000-6000 per month + NT$ 200 internet charge per month + NT$ 1000 electricity per month. (Usually should stay minimum 6 month, but can be communicate with the land lord (3 month is ok), + deposit 1-2 month NT $ 8000-10000 - NCU Guest house

General Living Expense
- It is recommended to buy a mobile SIM card from airport for NT$ 100-300.
- Taxi from airport to NCU NT$ 500-600.
- A regular main meal can have for NT$ 70-120.
- Bus Card : NT$ 100
- Dormitory mattress, Pillow, blankets and covers should purchase separately for NT$ 2000-3000.
- Insurance (if there is any) usually NT$ 4000 – 5000 per 1 semester.
- ARC card fee NT$ 1000 and must renew every year.
- Health check examination NT$ 500.
